OUR MISSION
Since 2011, we have been dedicated to serving the Brazilian community and individuals from diverse backgrounds in the region. Our bilingual services, courses, and children’s programs in English and Portuguese underscore our commitment to inclusivity and meaningful community service.
Integral to realizing this vision are two foundational institutions: the Brazilian Community Service (BCS) and the Ephphatha Daycare. These initiatives are natural extensions of our mission, embodying our commitment to uplift and serve the community in practical and significant ways.
The BCS has been instrumental in offering support through food distribution, translation services, dental care, vaccinations, cultural events, and assistance with school enrollments. Our partnerships with the Health Department, King County, Lake Washington School District, and the Mexican Cultural Center have enabled us to serve effectively and become a reference point for excellence. As the first institution serving the Brazilian community in the Northwest, the BCS’s efforts were recognized in a ceremony by the Kirkland City Council.
Ephphatha Daycare is a Christian daycare operated by members of the church. Having Ephphatha Daycare provide its services within the church fulfills a key aspect of our mission to serve the community, and positively impact the lives of children and families in order to create a stronger, loving community.
The community of Woodinville, where we are located, is officially designated as a child care desert. As a reflection of our commitment to embody Christian values in every aspect of our engagement, having the daycare operate in the church serves a vital community need.
